First Eggs in The Incubator
Agustin has put the first of the eggs from our breeding flock into the incubator.
He spent a few days getting the temperature and the humidity adjusted just perfect before loading in the eggs.
This is a trial run so we are not expecting high hatching rates. I told him that after ten hatchlings we will probably get the hang of it.
The eggs are turned every hour automatically, kept at 100F and 50% humidity for 18 days. Then they move to the hatching unit for the the final 3 days.
