Juanita and Rosa have been working on our drying room getting ready for the fast approaching lavender harvest. This cold frame will be covered with black plastic very soon. Each year the farm cats run all over this cover and it rips around their claw marks. I now buy the thin, cheap, plastic as it lasts just as long as the thick stuff now it is the cats playground.
We are planning for a big lavender harvest party in the middle of June, very much like the grape harvest in France. We will feed you very well and we will all help the crew bring in this wonderful fragrant crop. Watch this space for more details.
