Pork Tacos Or Burritos with Green Tomatoes and Tomatillos
Eatwell Farmhouse Kitchen - Serves 6
2 lb Ground Pork or you could use cubed Pork meat
Oil for browning meat if you need it
1/2 lb Tomatillos, chopped
1 lb Green Tomatoes, chopped
1 Large Onion, chopped
3 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tsp Cumin Powder
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1 1/2 tsp Eatwell Farm Smoked Chili Salt
1 tsp Chili Powder
In a large skillet cook the meat over medium heat. When the meat is halfway cooked, add the garlic, onion, green tomatoes, tomatillos and cook about 5 minutes. Add all the seasonings, mix well and continue cooking until the tomatoes and tomatillos are well softened. Serve on your choice of tortilla.
